Worship resources – Sunday, 26th July 2020

Following on from the recent reopening of our church building for worship, this Sunday (26th July) we plan to offer a single said service of Holy Communion in church at 9.30am, and then services on Zoom and Facebook at 11.30am and 12.30pm, respectively.

For the service to be held in church, we have been operating a booking system so that we are aware of the number of people attending – this is to help us to ensure that we are able to meet safely. A guide to attending church is available, and this may be downloaded by clicking on the following link:

The above document was updated recently to reflect the following advice, received from the Church of England, on the wearing of face coverings: We strongly advise that face coverings should be worn by all those attending a place of worship, including ministers, worshippers, staff, volunteers, contractors and visitors, where there may be other people present; remembering that they are mainly intended to protect other people, not the wearer, from coronavirus COVID-19 and that they are not a replacement for physical distancing and regular hand washing.

The order of service for the service in church is also available here in downloadable form:

It would be particularly helpful if those who have indicated that they will be attending the service could please download, print and bring the order of service with them (or follow on a mobile phone). We will also have a small supply of printed orders of service.

As we have said before, please be assured that we will be seeking to maintain our provision of online worship, albeit at different times on a Sunday so as to allow for the services in the church building.

All are welcome to join our service on Zoom at 11.30am (please get in touch to request the log-in details – you can email us at [email protected]), and also Facebook at 12.30pm [for our service on Facebook, we will be using the Prayer During the Day (Contemporary) order of service, which may be found here].

The noticesheet that has been prepared for this week may be viewed by clicking on the link below:

Don’t forget – Evening Prayer continues to be streamed on our Facebook page on weekdays at 5.15pm.

We hope that all of the above is helpful to you, and we continue to pray for our parish and send all our best wishes.
