St Mary Magdalene’s is a church that offers a unique atmosphere of peace and prayer in a bustling tourist area.
We are a Church of England church, located on the corner of Bailgate/Exchequergate, in between the Cathedral and Castle and next to the White Hart hotel.
We welcome everyone from all walks of life to our church, whether you are just visiting Lincoln or are thinking of joining us for worship.
In addition to our gatherings for worship, our regular opening times are as follows:
Monday to Friday: 11am–12 noon The church is open to visitors and this time is an opportunity to enjoy the beauty of the building.
Wednesday : Open Space from 12:30 – 1:30 pm with prayers at 1:25 pm
Saturdays: we have services that coincide with local events; for example, the church is open regularly from 10am until 4pm on the third Saturday in the month when there is a Farmers’ Market held in the Castle Square, adjacent to St Mary’s.
