Worship resources – looking ahead to Sunday, 3rd May 2020

This Sunday (3rd May 2020) we will again be offering two opportunities to join us for live worship via online platforms.

At 9.30am we will gather via Zoom (please message us via [email protected] for the log-in details and order of service), and then we will be livestreaming on Facebook at 11am (you can find us at https://www.facebook.com/stmaryms/ and we will be using the free Time to Pray app).

After the services on Sunday, we will be adding a short reflection based on Sunday’s lectionary readings on our YouTube page, and here you will also find a growing library of resources that includes a new series of 60-second films that are intended to help us to stop, reflect and give thanks.

To support our time of worship, we now have an accompanying noticesheet, which has details of the Bible readings for Sunday, news items and suggestions of other available resources. This may be downloaded here:

In addition, next week we will be offering our first ‘virtual coffee morning’ on Wednesday (6th May at 11am). All are welcome. If you message us via [email protected] we can send you the log-in details. The idea is simple: an opportunity to gather online to meet and catch up with one another.

Finally for now, don’t forget our livestreaming of Evening Prayer at 5.15pm on our Facebook page (Monday-Friday), and also ‘Daily Hope’, a new phone line offered by the Church of England that provides hymns, reflections and prayers. Details are below.

Please be assured of our prayers for our parish and our many friends in Lincoln and further afield, and we look forward to hearing from you and continuing to share in worship together.
