In 2020 we are taking our Advent Wreath Festival outside the church building and online. As every year our aim is to support the whole community of our parish and fundraise for local charities.
We invite anyone who lives in the parish, is a member of the Bailgate Area Guild, has a business or organisation in the parish, or who worships with us, rather than bringing a wreath to be displayed the church building, to display it on a door or in a window. Send us a photo of your wreath to be added to our gallery on this website. Businesses please include a small card in your photo with your business name and website details. Residents please make sure your home can’t be identified from your photo (eg.by a house number or window/door design). Please send your photo to [email protected]. Photos received by 9.00 am Saturday 28th will be displayed from the start of the Festival. However, in these difficult times, if you send the photo of your wreath a little late we will add it as soon as we can.
Please also help us to support local organisations with a donation. your donations will be shared between St Mary Magdalene’s, Lincoln Community Larder, and The Nomad Centre.
